One of the most frequent questions I get asked about how to recruit on social media is:
“How can I target leaders and get actual BUSINESS BUILDERS to join my company?”
We’ve all experienced the time wasters and people who aren’t going to do anything, a.k.a not even look at your company/product let alone join it.
When I first came onto social media I wanted to was already committed to 90 hours a week of school and work, so time was a precious asset.
It seems just like yesterday that Misha was calling Karen Richardson to congratulate her on making her first PRO sale…
Alright… So if you’ve been in the Online Marketing game for any period of time, you know that right now, more than ever, the Marketplace is a little bit crazy. There are literally tens of thousands of affiliates promoting just 3-4 opportunities, and 97% of those affiliates are failing.
Why? Because they’re doing EXACTLY what everyone else is that makes up the rest of the 97%. They’re not taking any action steps to stand out in the Marketplace as a leader and an authority, and they’re not giving anyone any good reason that they should join them in their business or buy whatever it is they’re selling. As one of my mentors, Tim Erway would say, they’re “me too” marketing.
Today were going to cover 3 simple ways for you to separate yourself from the crowd, and kill the “me too marketer” inside of you forever!
The difference between an Entrepreneurs and Employees mindset is drastic, and depending on where you fall on the spectrum, will either make or break your success in this field.
One of the biggest reasons I think so many people fail is the fact that they come into this industry with an employee mindset which puts an invisible lid on what they’re able to accomplish, and what they’re expectations are.
There are two KEY differentiators between the two mindsets:
A few weeks ago my wife, members of our team and I were at our company convention,
always a great time of the year! We went to all the keynote speakers, as many classes as we
could and poked around the convention floor where all of the products are showcased, especially
the new ones which they are coming out with.
On the third day of the convention, my wife and I took one class that really hit home. The title of the
class was “Do you Sparkle?” We had absolutely no idea what to expect or really what it was about.
